Can the Guru help the aspirant even after the Guru has left the body?

Now there are some Gurus who are very sincere and dedicated, but at the same time, they are not fully realised. What they do sometimes, is this: when they leave the body, they feel that their disciples who are still on earth need a particular kind of help in their quest for self-realisation or God-realisation. If the Guru has no jealousy (a truly God-realised person has no jealousy), he will come to his disciples in a dream and say, “Go to that particular Guru and become his disciple. I have played my part. But you need further help and I know that so-and-so is a sincere person. He will help you in your God-realisation.” But a mean and possessive Guru would say, “Wait my son, until I come back again to earth. I shall recognise you and you will recognise me. Don’t go to any other Guru. You stay alone.”

As I have said, there are some Gurus who, after having left the body, advise their disciples in this very incarnation to go to another Guru who is still on earth, who can teach them how they can realise God. They are undoubtedly noble and wise Gurus.

But if the original Guru made a promise to you, no matter where he lives, after leaving the earth, he has to be within you and with you to help you, even if you stay on earth for another forty or fifty years. In this case, it is just like having two rooms. Here is one room (life) and there is another room (death). Ordinary people cannot open the door. So when the Guru opens the door, he sees you, and when he goes back to his own room, he still has free access to this door. So once the Guru has made a promise, he is bound to keep it. He will not leave you until he has given you full realisation and has brought you to God….. Sri Chinmoy

I have to say i am impressed by the continuing concern shown by Guru since he has left the body. Most weeks he shows up to my meditation in Darwin, just last week i saw him at the end of my meditation, he came down and put his hands on my head and gave me one of his traditional style head blessings. Sometimes i feel a powerful presence above me before meditation, sometimes i get a premonition that meditation is going to be awesome and it is.

Some of my medium/clairvoyant friends came to town last weekend and i held a meditation. It was a real thrill. These girls are very talented and can see in the inner world. They said Guru was already in the room before we had even started meditating. It was a great med and as usual, we sat around after the med discussing our experiences. The visions they had were amazing, each person’s experience was totally different. I could see Guru standing in his dhoti behind the Transcendental and at the end of the med his form went really big and he put his hands on my shoulders, it was a really nice touch.

This never ever happened in the centre. Not once did we discuss our visions or experiences after meditation. To meditate with a really talented medium/ clairvoyant on the Transcendental is something else. My friend Dinah said i find i find it extremely difficult living on the physical plane, and she was right.

A senior San Fransisco disciple told me that he was in Guru’s house when Guru said he would withdraw from the cosmic game when he left the body. Guru must be hanging around before he pulls the plug for the final time.

Getting direct messages from Guru from the other side is mind blowing. Getting first hand juicy stories of centre politics is also awesome. No disciple i meditated with could ever pull the stuff my friend Dinah pulls from the inner world. I was stuck with unfortunate pride deluded centre leaders and barely spiritual disciples.

Not so long ago one Wednesday night i got angry with Dinah and decide to skip a meditation, as she is sometimes unreliable. Guru got angry with me via the Transcendental and told me verbally to go to meditation(i could actually hear him talking) with Dinah as it would give me a lift. So Ckg is quite happy for me to meditate with my medium/clairvoyant friends.

CKG is still alive and kicking on the Earth plane. I have first hand experience.
